In an effort to build up my portfolio and give myself a creative challenge, I took on the task of designing a Logo and Facebook/Blog header for my friend Emma’s blog, Mastering Your Makeup. She had no real preconceptions about what she wanted, except for expressing a like for the colours; pink, white and black and wanting some sort of illustration. I toyed with the idea of illustrating a makeup brush or colour pallette, but as Emma often creates fantastic eye makeup looks, I decided to focus in on that.
