Procrastination levels reached an all time low for 20 minutes this morning.. when Facebook suffered a worldwide outage.

The outage prevented users from accessing the website, plus smartphone and tablet apps displaying a message reading: “Sorry, something went wrong.”

According to the Guardian, this is the “longest outage in four years”, with the previous crash lasting  2.5 hours.

Thankfully though, it didn’t last long and by 9:30am service had resumed.

Curiously, less than an hour later at approx 10:35am WhatsApp (now owned by Facebook) took a brief dip in connection but seemed to return after a few seconds.

What are they at over in California, eh?

Facebook have yet to comment on the issue.
