Swing Scene.ie is a swing dancing company based in Kilkenny, with classes also going on in Waterford, Carlow & Dublin. Rory, from swingscene.ie approached me to take over the graphic design work from his previous designer. The first project he assigned was to design the Lindy Dollar, which was to be a business card that could be used in exchange for one hour of swing dancing in any SwingScene events (and is worth roughly 10euro)

The front of the card was modelled on the 10 euro note, but with the head of Frankie Manning (father of swing dancing) in place of the arch. The back of the card was to include the previously designed logo and starburst background used in most of his promotional posters as well as terms & conditions and the locations the cards can be redeemed.
