Waterford Viqueens Promotional Poster

Rocket Girl

I was tasked to design the full promotional graphics for the Waterford Viqueens first ‘bout’ in Waterford City. This included the main promotional poster, the tickets & bout programme.

As the Viqueens were playing the Belfast City Rockets it was decided to combine our mascot Hellga with the Belfast City Rocket logo, drawing inspiration from Dr. Strangelove. The colour scheme is based on our team colours of teal, purple and hot pink. She was created by piecing together a series of images and tracing them in Illustrator. All colours and shading were done in Photoshop.
